Greetings and welcome to The 2007 May Moon Beltane Festival, The event is will open on Friday May 3, 2007 at 10:00am and will close on Sunday May 6, 2007 at 12:00 noon. In order to ensure that we remain in compliance with the policies of The Mariner’s Museum Campground as well as the rules and regulations set by Mystic Moon for The May Moon Beltane Festival, we require that all vendors, attendees and staff personnel adhere to the following policies and rules of hospitality for the duration of this event that we will live within the laws and exist in peace, harmony and civility. . Non Compliance to these rules and policies can result in expulsion from The May Moon Beltane Festival with NO REFUND. No swimming, fishing, boating or wading in any of the waters anywhere in the park at any time. No drunk, disorderly or disrespectful conduct will be tolerated. There are to be absolutely NO drugs or illegal substances at The May Moon Beltane Festival or any where in the parks. Violators will be arrested! Children under the age of 18 are welcome and cherished here. You MUST fill out a caregivers form for each minor.(including your own) attending the May Moon Beltane Festival with you Any child and their actions are solely the responsibility of the parent or guardian. You MUST monitor your child at all times! No minors permitted at the fire circle after 11:00pm. Minors are not permitted to be unsupervised in the campground after 11:00 pm. No firearms or weapons are permitted in the park or at The May Moon Beltane Festival with the exception of costume or peace bound blades. Compliance to the law is the wearer’s sole responsibility. No littering in ANY FORM. This includes the dropping of cigarette butts. Trash receptacles and butt cans will be provided. Not only is littering illegal it goes against everything we believe in as tribes of The Earth. Campsites are to be kept clean of trash and clutter. Gate is closed and locked at midnight; non campers must leave by 12:00 am Clothing IS REQUIRED and must be conducive to family environment. Excessive provocative or inappropriate dress is not permitted. Noise curfew is from 12:00am until 8:00am next morning. This is to be respectful and considerate of residents nearby as well as May Moon attendees. Loud noise and/or music are prohibited during these hours. Museum and festival security will determine any situations concerning noise and have final say. All vehicles must be moved to designated parking lot after unloading. If you have any particular needs or special requirements due to disabilities or other reasons, please contact any May Moon Festival personnel so that we may try to accommodate and/or assist you. There will be handicap toilet facilities (port o let) Small personal campfires are permitted in secure containers such as portable pits and grills. All fires you have are totally your responsibility. Museum and festival personnel have final authority on the subject of personal fires. Pets ARE allowed, but, they MUST be on a leash at all times. Owners are totally responsible for ANY problems caused by their pet such as excessive barking, damage or injury. Owners MUST clean up all pet poop! The Fire/Drum Circle at May Moon Beltane is sacred. All drummers, dancers and attendees need to be mindful of this and conduct themselves in an ethical manner at the circle. The Fire Circle team is solely responsible for tending and care of the bonfire. NO ONE ELSE IS PERMITTED TO TEND THE FIRE! Other Important May Moon Information No electricity available No shower facilities available. No water available there will be bottled drinking water on site for purchase. There will be a food vendor on site for food purchase. Bring your own chairs if possible; entertainment pavilion is first come seating. Security will be provided by the museum and festival staff. Vendor spaces are offered on a first come basis. There is no rain date planned and registration fees are non-refundable. Registration fees must be returned with all forms completed to later than April 1, 2007. Your fee is $90.00 for a 20x20 space. This includes admission and camping for the buisness owner within your assigned spot, behind your pavillion. Mystic Moon and The May Moon Beltane Festival officially reserves the right to refuse admission to any merchant with any services/merchandise that is illigal or dangerous. All merchants are responsible for compliance to local, state, and federal laws, as well as obtainment od proper licensing. All merchandise and services are to be conductive to a family friendly environment. Mystic Moon May Moon Beltane Festival assumes no responsibility for theft, loss, damage, or injury to any person inside or outside of vendor spaces. All merchants are responsible for any damages done to the grounds from equipment, employees or vehicles. Mystic Moon reserves the right to refuse your stay at The May Moon Beltane Festival for the infraction of any of the rules and policies set forth and made public. By signing this waiver I, ________________________________ the attending merchant understand and agree to the rules set forth by Mystic Moon May Moon Beltane Festival, and to the rules and regulations for The Mariners' Museum Campground, Williams Feild, Newport News, Virginia. I accept and agree that camping, festival and out door activities are not without risk and hereby release the owners of Mystic Moon, all festival personnel as well as The Mariners' Museum from all and any liability associated with any activities at any time during the May Moon Beltane Festival. This shall include any damage or injuries to the attendees, staff and personnel due to natural hazards in the parks at Mariners' Museum.
