The Four Candles The Four Candles burned slowly. Their Ambiance was so soft you could hear them speak... The First Candle said, "I Am Peace, but these days, nobody wants to keep me lit." Then Peace's flame slowly diminishes and goes out completely. The Second Candle said, "I Am Faith, but these days, I am no longer indispensable." Then Faith's flame slowly diminishes and goes out completely. Sadly The Third Candle Speaks, "I Am Love and I haven't the strength to stay lit any longer. People put me aside and don't understand my importance. They even forget to love those who are nearest to them." Waiting no longer, Love goes out completely. Suddenly...A child enters the room and sees the three candles no longer burning. The child begins to cry, "Why are you not burning? You are supposed to stay lit until the end!" Then The Fourth Candle speaks gently to the little child, "Don't be afraid, for I Am Hope, and while I still burn, we can re-light the other candles." With Shining Eyes the child took the Candle Of Hope and lit the other three candles. Never let the Flame Of Hope go out of your life. With Hope, no matter how bad things look and are...Peace, Faith and Love can Shine Brightly in our lives. A note from Debbie about Community... Good Evening Folks, Please, take a moment and read this.. Just home from Drum Circle, the night was beautiful...Spring is HERE!! You need to come "Home" and see the changes that have been made at The Moon, the backyard is so nice, green, floral, the energy is wonderful. We have made some long needed changes such as moving the smoking area over by the gate away from the back door and making a non smoking, open area for family and kids, so, bring your blankets, your chairs ...and enjoy the nice family friendly area! It seems in many areas I am hearing from other Elders, with much sadness, that Pagan Communities are dying out and withering away. In many cases it's true, and the Pagans in these situations have let it happen.. not many places have what we have built here.. We will not allow that to happen to our Community! We are MANY, MANY, years strong in this area, We have fought for respect and dignity, we have worked, bled, cried, survived legal battles, city councils, police calls, pissy neighbors and even Pat Robertson.. and we're still HERE. Don't go away, don't fall back into the shadows people. We need to see you. We need you to come to Drum Circle and keep rockin the Universe, we need energy for healing, protection, joy, prosperity and LOVE! Have you forgotten? Are you really too busy to feed your Spirit? ...Or for the youngers and newbies, maybe you just don't know yet how good it can be! Come back to "The Circle" I know many of you just "do your own thing" and that's wonderful, but there is so much more energy to make positive changes in "The Collective" It is pure Magick.. We need to gather, for rituals, festivals, classes, workshops for Pagans. I am a Pagan and I am Proud. We are not "New Age" and reluctant to commit! We are Pagans and Heathens. We have earned our right to gather, drum, dance, howl at the Moon..in numbers, together again.. So many of you were here before me, before Mystic Moon, you inspired me and Brian.. many of you have helped build this Community with us from the beginning.. Where are you? I need you. Have some Effs to give again.. We need you....So Mote It Be! Some recent pictures around the garden... mystic moon psychic faire |
