This year, we request that you bring a food item that your ancestors would have enjoyed. The idea is to indulge in the food as a decedent. It can be your Grandmother's favorite recipe to any traditional food shared in your family line. The Jack-o-Lantern contest will judge already carved pumpkins. Although we'd love to be allotted the time, they will not be carved at Mystic Moon the night of the ritual. Pot Luck Rule of Thumb: Astro-signs:

Recommended ReadingWhile the existence of Samhain as a Celtic god has long been contested, there are various myths and localized lore of the Celts that support the existence of a rather obscure god or hero of the dead. Celtic Historians know very little about his existence but through cultural nuances we can find evidence of its name to mark the final harvest and end of Summer.
Samhain may be regarded as both pastoral and agricultural festival, which in time became known for masquerades, honoring the fallen and channeling energy and focus towards the movement of the ever turning wheel of the seasons. PLEASE JOIN US!
