| Sabbats 2010 Sunday, January 31--Cold Moon Esbat & Imbolc Sabbat Gather at 6.30 p.m.~Ritual Time: 7 p.m. Guidelines For Community Ritual/Ceremonies Mystic Moon is a place for community. We are pleased to be able to present an opportunity to observe and/or participate in an eclectic array of traditions, paths and practices of a positive nature. It is a great way to experience the "flavors" of Modern American Paganism as well to spend quality time with folks of like mind. If you have never attended a public service before, please feel free to ask questions, give input or share experiences you've had with other communities. We are blessed with a place to be able to offer this service to the community and we welcome any groups, covens or individuals to volunteer in assisting with these events. All community rituals at Mystic Moon are open to all "respectful seekers"--no matter what their path, faith or belief may be. Please Do: *Be mindful that is a sacred event and we therefore ask that you arrive on time.* *If you want to eat, bring food to share in our potluck.* *Be respectful of our staff and kitchen witches--all of whom are volunteers.* *Come as you are or wear your ritual garb.* *Turn off all cell phones before entering the circle.* *Remain in the circle once it has been cast.* *Children are always welcome in circle as long as they are not disruptive.* *Watch your children at all times as we are unfortunately unable to offer baby sitters.* *Clean up after yourselves and your children.* *Chant, sing, and participate with joy!* Suggestions for potluck: Fire signs~ Meat dish Earth signs~ Veggie dish Air signs~ Dessert Water signs~ Bread/Beverage |
